CTE, UDT, WBLE and IEPs - Acronyms to Action
Wednesday June 11, 2025 9:00am - 9:45am CDT
This session will present the ESU6 ReVision grant process and outcomes. This includes identifying and addressing barriers hindering the full participation of students with disabilities in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and Work Experience. Key objectives include providing sustained professional development for CTE teachers, counselors, and secondary special education teachers to foster collaboration and ensure student success. Additionally, the grant developed training for potential employers to enhance work-based learning opportunities. By improving preparedness and support for educators and employers, this project's goal is to increase inclusive enrollment, participation in work based learning, and successful completion of CTE courses for students with disabilities, strengthening the overall CTE system.
