Growing Nebraska’s Future Educators

With the increasing demand for qualified educators, Nebraska's Grow Your Own program offers an innovative solution to the teacher shortage. This session will explore how schools can implement a structured, flexible program aligned to NE CTE and Career Readiness Standards, featuring embedded Work-Based Learning and Educators Rising competitions. Attendees will learn about the three-course (soon to be four course) sequence, dual-credit opportunities, and resources available to support lead teachers and students. Whether you're just getting started or looking to enhance your existing program, this session will provide practical strategies and insights to cultivate the next generation of educators.
