About me
Craig Flaming has been the Agriculture Instructor at Randolph Public Schools, as well as the advisor of the Randolph FFA Chapter for the past 15 years. After attending Wheatland Public Schools in western Nebraska, Craig attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he received a bachelors of science in Agricultural Education with an emphasis in Industrial Technology better known as STS. Over the past 10 years, Craig has developed a school based enterprise known as CardinalCAM Industries, where his students work directly with the public to develop and manufacture various metal fabrication projects varying from CNC cut out signage to trailers and pickup flatbeds. Grossing roughly $30,000.00 annually, CardinalCAM profits fund both equipment needs for his STS program as well as scholarships for students in the CardinalCAM program. Craig strives to create a unique “real-world” atmosphere in his classroom, as well as partner with businesses in and around his community in order to give his students the skills they will need to succeed in whatever career they choose.
In addition, Craig has developed a passion for Teacher Retention and Mentoring. He has served as the Nebraska Agricultural Educators Association President, has worked with 4 student teachers, and has had more NAEA mentees than he can count. In 2023, Craig was honored to receive the NAEA Teacher Mentor award.
