About me
Tom Wheeldon has a passion for plants and greenhouse operations. Tom has 43 years of
teaching Agriculture Education at Schuyler Central High School and The Career Academy, in
Lincoln. Tom has 33 years of greenhouse operation and management. Tom’s experiences
include bedding plant production, poinsettia production, easter lilies production, and greenhouse and field mum production. Tom has also worked with grow towers, hydroponics, raised garden beds, edible landscapes, waterwise landscapes and drip irrigation. He also has researched and toured greenhouse operations in Arizona, Florida and throughout the midwest. Tom hopes to use his experiences to help others be successful in their greenhouse operations.
